Wellness Compass
Wellness Compass is a registered charity in Hong Kong (91/16514) with a mission to raise public awareness to wellness and to help people navigate and find their individualized paths towards a healthier and positive life.
We believe there are four vital pillars to the path of wellness:
- Physical wellness
- Emotional wellness
- Social wellness
- Spiritual wellness
Our vision is to be a resourceful and reliable platform for public to understand and practice the pillars of wellness.
Wellness Statistics
40% employees in HK has reported experiencing mental health problems within the past 12 months (significant increment from 27% in 2020 and 23% in 2018).

In 2021-22, 28,693 volunteers volunteered via AVS HK (total of 114,100 volunteering hours) with the top three age groups being: (i) 15-24 (21%); (ii) 25-34(18%); and (iii) 35-44 (17%).

Survey shows for those between age 18 and 64 in HK: 55.9% has inadequate aerobic physical activity (by WHO’s recommendation); 38.8% is overweight and obese (BMI>23); and 79.2% has inadequate daily fruit and vegetable intake (less than 5 servings per day).

1. Wellness 2024 Summer Internship
- Duration: 1 June to 31 August (any 1-2 months period during this duration)
- Working hours: Flexible arrangement, 2 days per week

Wellness Compass is a charitable organisation registered under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance under Hong Kong laws. We will issue official tax-deductible receipt for donations of HKD100 or above.
1. Donation by cheque
Please make a cheque payable to “Wellness Compass Limited” and mail your cheque to Unit 3101, 31/F, No. 69 Jervois Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
If you would like a tax-deductible receipt, please write the donor’s name, telephone number and email address at the back of your cheque.
2. Donation by bank transfer or FPS
Please make a direct deposit into HSBC 652-848417-838 or FPS (ID: 104156443)
If you would like a tax-deductible receipt, please send us the original bank-in slip or copy of the online payment acknowledgement to Unit 3101, 31/f, No. 69 Jervois Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong (with the donor’s name, telephone number and email address by postage written at the back) or email the same to jennifer.cheng@wellnesscompasshk.com (providing details of the donor’s name and telephone number).
